Wayang

One of Chinese cultures adapted to Indonesian cultures is Wayang. The others are Javanese Batik and Barong  Balinese Dance. Also the Chinese improved for the Indonesian culinary such as Lumpia of Semarang, Noodle, Meat Balls and Tofu.

Wayang was modified from Chinese puppets. The simiralities between these cultures can be seen from these pictures below:

Wayang Golek from west Java has cultural influenced and was modified from Chinese hand puppets while Wayang Kulit from central Java also influenced and was modified from Chinese leather puppets.

Meeting Incentive Convention Exhibition

Meeting Incentive Convention Exhibition known as MICE is a media for sharing with the same destination to goal, is a part of master plan of corporates and organizations to reach as many as customer to know and to get benefits of their products and services.  On June 5, 2009, I was invited to attend an exhibition of tourism. This exhibition introduced many attractive tourism products that might be sold as Indonesian cultures from Sabang to Merauke, from north of Aceh to south of West Papua.  As you can see in the picture at right, a man is standing in front of a handmade of ancient Javanese relief. This imitation relief looks like the real nature river stones which can be found in Java.  The exhibition was attractive and had many benefits to nourish our knowledge of the cultures of the tribes in Indonesia. The Exhibition also exhibited the agriculture products that may be found in every province in Indonesia. Interesting ....
